17/05/2004 17:00:00	Installed a BT Ultimate 106 Telephone Exchange	I installed a BT Ultimate 106, which allows up to 6 extensions to share a single telephone line with Voice Mail and Call Direction so we can have up to one external and two internal conversations going on at once. This is necessary, as there are six telephones in the house and it is annoying and unprofessional when you get interrupted during a call by, "Click, screeech (wireless telephone noise), Clunk". This way, each extension has to dial "9" for an outside line and can use internal ringback to let them know when the line is free. Excellent!

18/12/2003 11:00:00	Installed a Zalman Flower Cooler	I installed an ultra-quiet CPU Cooler today (Zalman CNP6000-CU AMD/PIII Flower Cooler). The only reason I know the server is still running is when the hard disk is accessed. I can't believe how quiet it is.
28/11/2003 19:09:15	Marilyn Manson Concert	Watched a Marilyn Manson concert on Wednesday night. It was great. I haven't had that much fun and exercise in a long time.
11/10/2003 14:46:01	Janes Addiction Concert	I went with Wayne Rees to Jane's Addiction at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall last night - they were great! I also enjoyed the support band, Stellastarr* - I was particularly impressed by the way the female bassist played, which isn't surprising, as she is a classically trained cellist.

17/06/2003 15:00:00	Wireless Network Cards Arrived	My new wireless network cards arrived today, so I am now officially wireless. I foresee a few days of fun and games getting everything up and running. Once again, you can read more in my Networking Guide.
15/06/2003 15:30:00	Go Karting	Took my Dad and brother Simon (as he is also a Dad) go karting at Mr Karting in Leamington Spa for Father's Day.
09/06/2003 20:00:00	Simon, Nasyah and Nathan Immigrated	Woohoo, my Brother and Sister-in-law who I haven't seen in four years and 16 month old Nephew who I have never met, arrived today. Now the fun starts trying to get our dog used to a toddler. My new broadband router, 4 port switch and wireless access point arrived this afternoon. I have documented my experience of setting up the new nework in my Networking Guide.
06/06/2003 00:00:00	Netgear WGR614 Router Ordered	I bought a Netgear WGR614 (broadbank router, 4 port switch and 802.11g 54Mbps wireless access point), so I can work on a computer anywhere in the house, which will be especially useful when my Brother, Sister-in-law and Nephew are staying with us, as my Grandmother is using my bedroom while they are here. I would be totally wireless, if it wasn't for the fact that my laptop doesn't have a battery, but at least I will be able to work downstairs without having to feed network cable through the ceiling. It should arrive on Monday, but unfortunately, due to a nationwide shortage of Netgear WG511 Cardbus wireless cards, they will only arrive the following Monday, which will be after my Brother, Nephew and Sister-in-law arrive. Watch this news feed.
