Bob, Dave, James, Lynne, Mike, Neil, Peter, Tom (who is really Dave) and I had a camping and cycling weekend in the Malvern Valley.
- Friday
- Arrived at The Anchor Inn, Drake Street, Welland at 22:00.
- Pitched a tent.
- Paid for pitch.
- Had a pint
- Went to sleep.
- Saturday
- Stopped at The Boat Inn, a pub in Ashleworth Quay near the Tythe Barn (step 10 on the route), which was more like someones front room - excellent.
- Met up with Neil two thirds of the way along the route.
- Sunday
- Cycled into Malvern with Bob and Lynne.
- Met up with Dave, James, Mike and Neil at Waitrose.
- Walked to Malvern beacon.
- Stopped at St Anne's Well Cafe on the way down, where they only sell vegetarian food and you mix your own orange squash with the water from a fountain, which is pictured below.
- Cycled back to the campsite with Mike and Neil.
- Came home
